Happy Holidays from Robots and Cupcakes!

The family at Robots and Cupcakes wishes you all a happy holiday and a great new year! This upcoming year feels especially exciting all around– We wish you all the best!!!

Rick Hinkle

We are so completely lucky to have the opportunity to work with musician Rick Hinkle on The Mixed-Up Wacky Zoo! He is amazing. We met him through John Kurtz while developing our last iPad app, Christmas Belles.

Rick is a natural in bringing out inspiration and humor in his work, both things we thrive on at Robots and Cupcakes. (Not to mention he's got a wonderful, super-thick Georgian accent!)

During the next two weeks, we'll be creating a video overview of the story and the people involved in this fantastic project. We can't wait to share everything with you!

ClausKids.com has launched!

ClausKids.com, the holiday adventure website that the Christmas Belles characters are based on, has launched! With incredible character design, beautiful animation segments and music written just for the site, you and your kids will find hours of fun exploring and playing puzzle and action games as you help save the north pole along with the main characters, Rudy and Star.
Playing the entire adventure costs just $12, and you can find free, downloadable coloring pages and activities of the characters and scenes from the site.

Check out the video about the making of the website, and be sure to visit and play ClausKids.com!

Gifting an app for the holidays

Apps make a perfect little gift. They're inexpensive, and they're guaranteed clutter free, fat free and guilt free! And, you don't have to face a crowded mall to buy them.

Moms With Apps.com has a great article explaining how to gift an app from the iTunes store. What a great idea!  Read how to gift an app here.

Christmas Belles selling all over the world!

Christmas Belles is doing amazing right out of the gate!
This is our favorite part: We've sold apps in the U.S., Russia, Italy, Canada, Brazil, France, China, United Arab Emirates, Luxemburg, South Korea, Singapore, Ecuador, Germany, Norway, Argentina, United Kingdom, Mexico, Indonesia and the Netherlands!!! And that's only in it's first two days. Very cool!

Christmas Belles is now available for iPad!

Happy Holidays from Kurtz Art Studio and Robots and Cupcakes– Christmas Belles is now officially available for iPad in the iTunes store!

In this game, you can play along with the Belles to help them perform three Christmas classics, or you can free play to compose your own masterpiece! There's also an option to record and play your songs back so you can share them with family and friends. The graphics and music are just beautiful, bringing your family closer together to enjoy some musical holiday fun.

The Christmas Belles characters come from the holiday web site, ClausKids.com, where you can find a plethora of games and activities to help save Christmas! The site should be up any day now, and we couldn't be more excited– the characters and animation and music are amazing! Many of the people who worked on both the Christmas Belles game and on the Claus Kids site came directly from Cartoon Network (such as Jay Rogers and Jon Henshaw), and all of the music was written, performed and produced by Rick Hinkle.

The iPad game also features one of the songs from the site, "The Magic Door", which is also available on iTunes here.
