R&C Animated and Musical Holiday Smart Lessons released!

Ho, ho, ho! The Robots and Cupcakes team has created some WONDERFUL holiday classroom presents for all!!! And not only have we added animation into the activities, but we've added music to keep you and your kids cheery!

The Winter Math lessons are leveled for grade K, grades 1 & 2, and for grades 3–5. R&C Autumn Language Arts Smart Board lessons now available!

It's autumn, and that means cool weather and lots of fun festivities in the classroom! And what's more fun than using your Smart Board when teaching? Adding in Robots and Cupcakes' new Fall-themed Language Arts activities!

On Smart's Exchange Forum, you can find one exciting fall-themed lesson each for grade K, grades 1 and 2, and grades 3 through 5.

From looking under fall leaves and sorting them, to squashing pies and eating them– there's lots of colorful, interactive fun to keep things moving. Click here to check 'em out!

Revisiting Pumpkin Pad

We released our very first creative play iPad app for Halloween just over one year ago. Pumpkin Pad was incredibly fun to make, and sales are still going strong! (AND all year long!!!)

Pumpkin Pad combines whimsical art and kooky music to create a lighthearted, open-creative Halloween app for kids AND adults. You can pick from one of three pumpkins in the pumpkin patch to carve and design using a ton of different options: You can carve free-form using your finger, use one of the punch-out shapes, and also choose from humorous "stickers" of eyes, noses and mouths to create thousands of combinations!

We've also added in a bunch of different backgrounds and music selections to choose from as a really nice touch to get you in the Halloween spirit. And for only $1.99, it's an easy purchase for a ton of spooky fun! And once you've created your scene, send it to your friends and family.... Or even send it to US!

We've received hundreds of silly and creative pumpkins from kids of ALL ages from all over the WORLD! (We're putting up a gallery of all of them on our website very soon!) You can see just a tiny handful of them in this silly video we put together for the app last year right here.

Smart has just released all of our Math and English lessons with a Halloween twist! Check out these beautiful and entertaining pages made for grades K-2 and 3-5...Download them here.

We've created these lessons with some serious love in honor of our favorite holiday! You'll find tons of activities, including a Monster Race, a Mind Reader game (an editable Flash for teachers to use year round!!!) as well as the ever-popular Pumpkin Squoosh Ball AND Candy Bowl Ball game (to throw your koosh balls at)!

We hope you all have as much fun playing (and learning!) with these activities as we did!

Robots and Cupcakes has a new home!

We have VERY exciting news for everyone: Robots and Cupcakes has grown out of its old digs, and has found a new home in nearby Hoboken, NJ! We're currently in the process of making the big move into a larger space, and should be settled in mid-September.

Our office is upstairs from the historic landmark Clam Broth House, which is located just one block from the PATH and ferry into NYC and trains into New Jersey. The area boasts lots of great food and shopping, including Carlo's Bakery from the popular reality show, Cake Boss!

YoMagination's "Journey to YoPoweR!" app is on the horizon...

Over the last few months, we've been working with YoMagination to help create an iPad app based on the printed YoPoweR! classroom curriculum designed for children with autism or are highly anxious.

Throughout the process, the app has grown! YoMagination has been adding even more wonderful features to the app, including a deep breathing exercise and a special shortcut menu to take kids directly to their favorite calming activities in times of need.

The new schedule has a release of late fall. We'll of course keep you updated!
